My most popular two musician string ensemble is my VIOLIN/GUITAR DUO. I am the violin player and with one of my favorite guitar player colleagues joining me, we play wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, receptions, restaurants, public events, private parties, indoors or outside. We can be gently amplified or play strictly acoustic. The full sound reflects the feel and emotion of the music.
The type of music that sounds great with this DUO is endless, from old standards, ethnic music, elegant classical pieces and jazz to current rock, pop and soul tunes. People often remark…”you can play Beyonce on your violin?”; “Wow. we never heard that song played by violin and guitar!” We love taking requests and surprising listeners with new tunes. Fun for all!
